And finally, an updated picture of the Striped longies. To be frank, I don't like working with this yarn. It's splitty and, compared to the purewool/bfl/bbr that I normally work with, very un-forgiving. Hard to describe, but just not a great yarn to work with. But, the finished product is pretty. I need to weave in a ton of ends, kitchener the crotch and make a drawstring. All actual knitting is complete though.

Next up is a picture of another custom pair of longies. These are for Erica, worked on BFL, in a vivic black/red/green. The colors didn't photograph all that well, but wanted to post a picture to show progress.

Striped Longies Update For Aileen

Hey there,

Here is an update photo on the longies:

The first leg is about 3.5 inches, and the stripes are turning out gorgeous thanks to TECHknitter's blog about jog-less stripes. :)

The legs will have about 1.5 inches of ribbing at the bottom and I'm thinking up an embellishment for them.

Hope you like them!

Longies I've made

Soaker knit in Purewool, with a Peace sign duplicate stitched on the bum.

The pink/brown ones on the left are crocheted using three ply purewool, ruffled bottom. The ones on the right have a hemmed waist (with internal drawstring, something I don't suggest using, awkward and bulky) and have a XO cable pattern down the sides knti with dk weight bfl.

A close up of the XO (Hugs and Kisses!) down the side.

Soaker in BBR. Knit with the Punk Knits Soaker pattern.

Longies Knit in Tykie Knits blue camo (I think)

Some super cute newborn longies knit in single ply Purewool. A dream to knit with and beautiful outcome.

Yarn was custom dyed by Alligator knits, with a hemmed edge and a double moss stitch bottom (that looks slightly ruffled)

A work in progress. I just bought the turtle butts pattern, and this is my first go around with it. Really, it was quite easy, knit in blue/white knit picks WOTA.

Yarns....

The above photo is a custom dye by Alligator Knits on BFL, available is one multi color skein and the trim skein of green.

Koi Pond, BFL, Dyed by Tykie Knits
The very bottom, you can barely see it, brownish/ almost with a hint of purple is Purewool. I'll take a better picture in a bit.

Still to come..... pink/green/brown on BFL and Selah Heartwood. Maybe.

Jade monkey in progress

I make chunky monkeys. As is evident by the picture above. This is my little Kylan, in crocheted shorties. He's quickly approaching the 3 year old mark and I'm having a hard time remembering him being so little.

Just wanted to post a quick progress picture.

It's picture time

This is me! And I have no idea why my typing is font is blue. And underlined. Anyway, this photo was taken at the top of Hogsback in mid-October.

This goofball, lunatic is my boyfriend. We were taking pictures of his facial hair and he decided to do some crazy faces. This particular look is the Manchurian Biker, Take Two.

Because that last picture looked scary, I decided to add a less insane looking picture.

My pumpkin hugger. :)
